London Lockdown Ride Review

Every March, a small crew of volunteers takes on the London Lockdown Ride 100 miles through the capital, overnight, in aid of the Lewisham Bank for Things. This year's ride raised over £7,000 and saw Tinashe take on the full loop, from Victoria's bright lights out through south London's suburbs, along the river past Greenwich and Canary Wharf, north past Arsenal as the sun came up, and back west through Regent's Park and Kensington to finish where it started.

Our third overnighter took us west for a proper test of legs, patience, and puncture repair skills. After tackling the South Downs Overnighter earlier in the year, this time fellow RAB/Unit 5 mechanic John Hooley and I set our sights on the White Horse Round, a 117-mile (194 km) gravel adventure looping through the Wiltshire countryside.
